Protecting families, finances and furry friends!

It’s not easy to remove malicious comments about yourself or your business from the Internet. Authors can be held responsible, but often the sites are protected against defamation lawsuits under the Communications Decency Act of 1996.

However, allowing websites protections from lawsuits allows the sites to stay in business and save the expense of having to monitor everything taking place on their sites. But trying to find the authors is an expensive and lengthy process.

People need to monitor the Internet and keep track of what is being said. Additionally, if you read a defamatory comment on a particular site, check the Terms of Service on the site to see if they had a policy regarding those types of comments and will have them removed.
