Protecting families, finances and furry friends!

Summer is half-way over, and for many, vacations are fast approaching. Before you head out, make sure your Estate Plan is set before you go:

1.  For those with children, a complete Will which names guardians for them. If you are leaving the children at home, a short-term guardianship form that allows the person caring for your children the decision-making power in your absence;

2.  Your Will, Trust and any beneficiary designations have been updated to reflect your current circumstances;

3.  You have put in place your Health Care and Property Powers of Attorney in case you become ill on your trip; and

4.  Someone back home knows where you keep all your important documents.

Now you can grab your favorite book and hit the beach worry-free!
